Amazon Ramps Up to Hire HBCU Students For Internships and Careers After Graduation (16231 hits)


It's almost Fall and you know what that means!

Amazon and HBCUCONNECT.COM are ready to roll out details for the Fall recruitment and interview cycle for Interns and Full Time hires!


2021 Amazon Internships

Amazon's Internship program for 2021 is on and in full swing hiring mode! HBCU Students should plan to apply through HBCUConnect.com using the following link:

Amazon is looking for more HBCU students to fill internships that lead to real corporate management opportunities. In the Fall of 2020, Amazon has agreed to interview at least 85 candidates recommended by HBCU CONNECT!

Who can apply?

You can be working towards your 4 year degreee as long as you graduate between December of 2021 and August of 2022. And even though this is a management job, you won’t be stuck behind your desk. Amazon Interns typically are on their feet, engaging with and motivating their teams of between 20 and 200 associates, usually on a 4 day work week schedule!

This is a great way to get an internship in management. Your opportunity for advancement is almost unlimited with opportunities around the clock and around the country.

Are you ambitious? A striver? High energy? Maybe you are a college athlete or participated in extracurricular activities. Your attitude and your energy are your keys to success.     BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    · 3+ years of relevant professional or military work experience which occurred after completing your undergraduate program and prior to starting your MBA or master's program
    · Currently enrolled in MBA or equivalent master’s level program at the time of application
    · 3+ years of full-time industry work experience, which occurred between graduation from your undergraduate program and prior to starting your MBA or master’s program, OR 3+ years of military work experience prior to starting your MBA or master’s program
    · Undergraduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and/or relevant industry experience working within technology teams (PMT Only)

    Amazon will review applications on a rolling basis starting Monday, August 10th. Interviews begin August 31st and will continue until positions are filled. We will interview candidates according to university policies and will begin with certain functions (PMT, Operations, FLDP) before moving on to remaining roles (RLD, Program Manager, Product Manager).
